In the past three years, integration and internationalization have accompanied Abrigo, which is going to attend interpack being more innovative and with ever greater ambitions
Integration and internationalization have been Abrigo’s passwords for the last edition of the Interpack. Those words accompanied its path during the last three years and now the company from Ricca d’Alba is going to attend the fair in Düsseldorf being bigger, more mature, more innovative and with greater ambition.
Abrigo’s three lines of activity are: packaging solutions, where the company is able to provide (also thanks to its integration with primary partners) complete turnkey lines, ultrasonic cutting of food products, with robotized lines that combine the highest levels of quality and versatility with the maximum productivity and reliability, complete lines from process to packaging, together with the other partners of the AD-Net network, which was established to support the most demanding customers, in terms of innovation, quality and reliability, and to be their single contact reference.
Regarding packaging solutions, Abrigo will exhibit a high-frequency line, to feed the products to a flowpack packaging machine, realized in cooperation with Schib, a company belonging to the multinational group Hayssen Flexible Systems, with which Abrigo has been cooperating for some years. The system is extremely compact and efficient and is made by a dual belt sorter (500pcs/minute), a fast robot-picker and the flowpack machine from Schib. The automation of the whole system is really interesting and innovative and it has been developed together with B&B Automation, another of the partners-founders of the network AD-Net. A brilliant example of “integration” in practice.
Regarding ultrasonic cutting systems, it will be possible to find at Abrigo’s booth (Hall 03, booth 3E37)a machine belonging to the “Flexcut” family, with the blade driven by an anthropomorphic robot, which guarantees maximum flexibility and cutting speed. An identical machine has been delivered to an Abrigo’s new customer in China, Shanghai, and is being started up while we are writing this article.
The project has become feasible also thanks to the local branch of AD-Net, located in Hang Zhou, and it perfectly fits with the path of growth and “internationalization” embraced by Abrigo.
The machines that will be exhibited are just a tangible example of Abrigo’s skills and potential for the kind visitors at the company’s booth, with special regards to those who still do not know the company, but it is just a foretaste. Abrigo’s technical and commercial staff at the booth will be glad to illustrate many other new solutions and interesting surprises to its welcome guests.
