The future of industrial technologies
Seven days dedicated to the future of industrial technologies, a good chance for updating: these have been the Open Days of ADnet group; the event took place from October 22nd to 30th in the headquarters of B&B Automation, which founded the group together with Abrigo SpA, Domini Officine and Sea Control. The international network ADNet, specialized in automation for food industry, had its doors opened to customers and professional visitors, for an intense week of ideas exchange.
The focus has been on the ultimate solutions offered by the group. Abrigo presented the new High Speed MRS, an evolution of the solid modular technology for packaging Modular Robotic System; in a compact and high-performance (over 500 ppm) robotic cell, the integration of two possibilities: automation of secondary packaging in master case or display box, and feeding a flowpack multi-wrapper. For this, also Schib-Hayssen was present, which is the partner of Abrigo for horizontal and vertical wrapping. Schib showed the features of its flow-wrapper with hotsealing: high performance, flexibility, automatic film reel change and the function “no product-no bag”. There has been a huge interest about the B&B Infinity: the spiral conveyor with the possibility of customized diameter, height and inclination, in a real tailor-made concept. Among its several strong points: efficiency in cost effectiveness and time to market; capacity to move high loads in a really optimized footprint and in one or two directions; flexibility and low noise level.
Furthermore, in partnership with Bosch Rexroth, B&B also presented two innovative solutions: IndraDrive Mi, the cabinet-free technology, that eliminates electric cabinets, simplifies the wiring and connects all the automation components – drivers, control panels, safety and Ethernet – in a unique network; and Open Core Interface: the revolutionary interface for industry 4.0 that offers connectivity, hardware simulation in the loop and development of applications based on evolved languages. Open Days, an event that confirms the technological attitude of ADNet, demonstration of a cutting edge way to business.
